This wisdom from the painter Georgia O'Keeffe has illuminated many seasons for me, slowing my pace, centering me in the moment, and helping me attend wholeheartedly to the way God's light shines out through startling leaves, passionate music, and the beauty of human faces and voices as people ask their questions and share the stories of how they are becoming who they are. Today I am especially thankful for the gift of time--time to learn, time to befriend one another, time to notice the grace of God so joyously at work and at play among us.
