*We* are God's Light !

*We* are God's light in the world!

Really?!

Yes, really.

Jesus himself says so. (Matthew 5:13-16)

Glory be!

With Dr. Zaida Maldonado Perez, Professor Emerita of Church History and Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary in Clermont, Florida, we begin to comprehend that "light is no respecter of persons. Its rays reach unlikely places and welcome *all* to its benefits. This too is a reflection of God's reign": we are "to shine for all to see" and "to be a natural and grateful expression of the light of God" in the world.
