Jesus is talking about a moment like when the sun inches over the neighboring rooftops and lands on the leaves of the tree outside your window in such a way that heedless of your usual inertia and uncertainty you rise from the chair and go outdoors because you know deep inside that what you want most is to go out and be part of this day.
And you come back in, sometime later, not at all the same.
Each day is full of moments that overflow with possibility. Jesus invites us to rise up, enter in, and be part of God’s love becoming new and growing stronger than ever now, right here where we live.
